Hey, I have known that others here have done the hID conversion by simply using the wiring harness and ballasts from another car that had it stock and wiring it into our system..
some questions for you as I am thinking about this.
First would be do only some hid kits work, i mean from any car that had it stock can you pull that kit and wire it into ours, or does it have to be from specific car models/makes.
How hard is it to do all the wiring, I have setup a 7 computer LAN at my house and HiFi home theatre alot so I know the basics of wiring.
Lastly what price range should I be lokin at if Im lookin for a used kit out of another car, like one that has been totalled or somethin. I dont wanna get ripped.
Still not sure about this, I have 5200k bulbs in my stock sockets that are really really bright white with a hint of blue thta I like.
