HID Headlights

I just purchased a 2006 MS6 - black on black...

it has factory HID's, they are not exactly the brightest (compared to the A4) I just returned from a lease. Any ideas for upgrading the bulbs to something a bit brighter or is it a limitation by the projector housing?
