I do not know if this helps but S/D also do different mapping for the aussie kits as they are way to rich from the states.
So how much will it cost for some body to do the mapping for you ?
Hey and hiboost was going to change the intake hose so it did not go over the rocker cover have they done that yet ?
Have put my Hiboost plan on the back burner as just got myself a second morgage in Darwin

The mapping for the Australian P5 with the 2.0 FS engine might be a little rich because it has a higher compression ratio (9.7:1) compared to the US of 9.1:1.

We will work on that to provide a better mapping for those kits.
Also kit to Australia are being shipped with a bit longer hose connectors to make it easier to install if there are some differences which should be minor.

The only thing Doug told me it didn't fit is the air filter bracket which is not a big deal. Anyone could make the right one to fit and they want, they can send it back to us and we will jig it to include the right one for future customers.

We should have the new path intake soon, which will be sent for free when it is ready to all the hguys who order our kit now.
Also a thicker head gasket is available upon request to lower the compression ratio and run more boost with the stock mapping. It is cheaper to get the gasket than the E6X unless you want higher boost. But then you need internals to run over 10 psi.

The higher the boost the lower the compression ratio you need for your engine. I would go to 9.1 to 1 or even 8.5 to 1 compression ratio to run 15 psi safely. If you change the pistons, you should also go with forged rods. The rods are the weak part in the FS engine. The stock rods will take 10 psi safely, maybe 13. Above that, I recommed going to forged rods to be in the safe side. Once you have the rods, 20 psi and high octane fuel, 300WHP is easy to get and enjoy in the protege.

Do you sell the pistons and forged rods? If not who would be the best to ask. Keep in mind that i am in Australia, so it would be someone who ships internationally.

- original price was set to cover all ups and downs of the market
- original price was also set when the dollar was lower
- new computer is required
- new maps are required
- quite a few ods and ends are different
