HiBoost Scion TC Turbo Kit

This is our new turbo kit for the Scion TC that we have been testing for the last month. I know this is a Mazda forum but some of you may have friends to refer to us. The kit is in production and will be available in 3 to 4 weeks from now.

It comes with ceramic ball bearing turbo, Cast manifold, Haltech F10X fuel management, big front mounted intercooler, high quality silicone couplers with Hiboost logo, Oil lines and can be ordered to use the stock air box or an open end 3 inch filter. The kit makes 230 WHP on stock exhaust or 270 WHP on 2.5 or larger cat back.

The numbers were 230 on stock exhaust and 7 psi of boost and the posted dyno is at 9 psi and cat back.

So whats the potential of this car look like?

You can make easy 500 WHP out of a built Scoin TC 2.4 liter engine. The price is between $3,600.00 and 4,000.00 depending on the upgrades. The one shown is $3,600.00.

why would you want a piggyback ecu that you can't tune yourself without an Certified Unichip tuner when you can get a full stand alone you can tune by yourself?

shoulda went with a unichip like the turbonetics!

Most guys do not want to use the Unichip. They would prefer something that you can play with if going with more mods in the future. The Haltech F10X has proven very reliable in all our turbo kits. Protege, Mazda 3, Mazda 6 and now the Scion TC. There is one guy making 340+ WHP on his daily driver Protege and the F10X.

b/c most people cant tune anyway.

but if you do change something, you can tune it yourself. i know i've been able to play with my setup quite a bit. for those looking for bolt on with some room down the line to play, these setups are great!
