Shane- still have the standard 2.5" Hiboost S pipe and downpipe, the 3 " starts after the DP flange. That turbo is so small i didnt see the need to redo the DP and SP, plus i like that fact that its cast iron got too many friends with crappy tubular piping that cracks and leaks.

Winsor- Im goin to the dyno tomorrrow for the first tune since the internals were done, ill take video while im there ;)

I installed mine about 5 months ago, but it is HKS 3" SS Ti Hipower, same design but not carbon fibre. Great stuff!

Close but no cigar, we went and couldnt get the car to stop detonating from 13-17 pounds...even 12 at some points would detonate so we had to let off. Im dropping it off at TBK tomorrow for Manuel to make some tweaks. Were changing out the stock fuel pump and he thinks the MAF sensor might be faulty. In any event it made 255hp and 265tq at 13lbs under detonation. Once he gets the kinks out were gonna go back and crack up the boost.

On a side note Owen (superprotege) made 283hp and 285tq at 16lbs, and it made it over and over...very steady performer ;)

Ok I got a ???, im buying the Hiboost complete turbo tis next spring, How hard is it to install??? Anything i should know or be ready for?

Basic tools and mechanical skills and splicing into the stock Computer harness for like 8 wires. You will definately need a clutch upgrade (I am very happy with my Clutchmasters Stage IIR after 65k miles). I started slipping almost immediately in second with the stock clutch.

I installed it on my own in my garage. The install wasn't hard at all, but I ran into alot of problems, left and right. I bought the kit used off of a member and was missing nuts and bolts here and there. A few tips I would provide though, are MAKE SURE your wiring is 100%!!!!! Double and triple check your wiring and be sure you have it all perfect. This is one place I messed up and it put me back a few days. If I was to install the HiBoost kit again on another car, it would take no longer than a day and a half. The instructions are very clear and simple to follow. If you buy the kit brand new from Juan, you will have everything you need. I would also suggest getting new spark plugs. The plugs that were in my car, NGK BKR5Es (stock I think) just weren't going to cut it. As soon as I put NGK BKR7Es in, the car ran smoother and idled much smoother.

Turbo does not throw a CEL at all. The only CEL I got was when it stalled on me on the road, nothing since though, and I've had it in the car for almost a month, not tuned yet, running a bit rough still.

I have an auto and it's slipped between 2nd and 3rd quite a bit when it's cold out, only during very light acceleration though. If I'm on about 1/4 throttle, it's fine. Haven't been able to push it much harder though cuz it needs to be tuned.
