Hiboost Fmic Install Help

Yeah make sure you are using the pipes in the right area. I know it took me sometime to figure out fitment but at the same time i didn't have instructions to go by. Also I've found that you have to use certain couplers in certain areas or the pipes won't line up.

I found that bolting the L shaped one to the frame of the car before alinging the pipes was easier. I think I still had some play, but not a gap like yours. When I did the pipes first I couldn't bolt the pipe to the frame. Secure that pipe first then adjust the others to fit.

Here's some things I would check, dispite being obvious:
1) The right pipes are used (all the thick ones after the intercooler)
2) are the pipes in the correct way
- If I remember correctly the L shaped pipes are not symetrical. One leg is longer than the other. It is possible you have the L pipes in the right location, but they are in backwards. (The attached picture of yours looks to me like you have the L pipe in backwards. If you turned it around the top pipe would sit at a lower angle reaching further back into the engine bay and lower.)

3) Couplers are in the correct place. The hump hose ones are obvious, but the others are all different lengths. Don't use a long clamp when a shorter one will work.

Definately look at the "S" pipe that connects to the cold side of the intercooler.

It should go down after it connects to the IC. If it is going up, it will seem like the BOV pipe is too long.

I've tried switching them all around. and the "S" pipe will only go on one way right?
I'll double check everything when i get home

If you're standing on the driver side of the car, and you look at the "S" pipe, it should be a backward "S".

Uhmm.. Kinda hard to explain without a picture.

If standing in front of the car, looking straight down at the S pipe after the IC, the first curve should go straight down.

I'm fairly certain that one of the cold pipes before the one with the BOV flange is backwards.

It's either the S or the L down there that is throwing you all off. It happened to me too and I was frustrated and thought the pipe was too long. Something is backwards.

Edit: If you don't get it by the time I get home tonight, I'll take a pic of my cold pipes.

^^my hot pipes are good. i need pic of the cold pipes that go into the IC, and all the way up to the throttle body

Pics: Sorry the pipes are pretty dirty. I moved my coolant to be able to get decent pics of the pipes...

Let us know if this helps.

I thought you tried both ways? lol

I thought that would be your issue. I did the same thing when I first started it.

Let us know the outcome.

i did, but not that way. lol.
i tired both ends is what i mean. and i tried both ends on the "J" looking pipe and both ends on the bov pipe.
all i gotta do is turn the "S" upside down. I"ll be back in a hour or so and let you know.
thanks a lot guys

yeah right guys.
where does the black "L" bracket go? it doesn't say anything in the directions?
and why does it say to cut the "U" pipe by the weld? there is no weld on the IC "U" pipe
