Mazda 3
Hi, i just purchased a Mazda 3 and need a good dealership service center, unfortunately I had some issues with White Plains Mazda and they keep on damaging my car. Any other good service centers near the METRO NYC area? Stamford or Beford Hills?

Also, how about roof racks for this car, besides Yakima or thule?

Advice is appreciated

Hello! Welcome (hi) A good idea is to include your location in your avatar to the left ;)

Maybe he's hiding?!?! Seriously, I don't know why some people choose to leave out their location. I for one like knowing where the people I'm conversing with live.

Welcome

Sorry, I don't know any dealers in the the metro NYC area but congratulations on your new car. As for the roof rack...those are the only two I know of so far. Other that the dealer item I think that's it.

so you can stalk them?

Look this is not really my forum, my main ride is a BMW M3...i actively particpate in www.m3forum.com, and I just purchased a Mazda 3 as a station car, so I may not be a real participant in this forum, but I do from time to time need some good leads on accessories or mechanical issues. I just put in my location Im from NY.

IMO, the mazda 3 is such a nice ride for the price, it has a great looking interior...a nice drive feel...commuting was never this fun with my honda accord....its a real bang for the buck., moon roof, 6cd changer, ABS, no leather seats...but...the interior light display..i have to say..looks just as good not better than my e46 M3.

thanks for any leads...and to my understanding Bedford ADZAM Mazda seems like a good place near my area.

Also, I have no avatar...Ill put one up later.

thanks for the tips..if any...all is appreciated.

well i bought my p5 from white plains mazda and they arent that bad...any dealer service is gonna be a pita. i live in ct and have been to the stamford place and i didnt like them, i like white plains more. i recently went back to white plains and they arent bad they washed my car and everything. the one in bedford hills is in the middle of bumpble **** to be honest with you i went there to look for a p5 and well its in the middle of no place and you have to take a bunch of back roads to get there. to put it simply we went looked at a car and said thank you and good bye. about roof racks im unsure my p5 does not have one and it looks sexy as well i think itl be the same way with the 3 but thats just me. good luck with everything if you need anything else feel free to contact me.

you are saying WP is good, they put a dent on my top roof, I believe, which I need to fix this weekend and they over torqued a wheel nut key..and they had to replace the bolt thread, removing the calipers, a total disassembly of the wheel assembly was required...they did a good job but the young dudes working there are kinda cluelessand they thought it was funny.I dont know..manthe foreman mechanic there is a very qualified..Ronny..his namedont know.man..Ill try adzam and see wahts up on my 3000 mile oil change and see if they are ok.i like them because they are a MAZDASPEED center, Mazdaspeed centers have more qualified people who are inclined in the modifications of mazda vehicles..no? I guess not since Stamford is a mazdaspeed center.

Ill try ADZAM and report my findings, then if they suck then Ill go back to WP....how about the one in Yonkers?

give it a shop look around. im just going from m expierence. ive been to WP mazda 3-4 times and nothing bad as of yet its a pita waiting for service but it isnt bad. next time im going to bring my own oil and what not and some other odds and ends for the big 20k service. but i have atleast 1 or 2 more oil changed before then.

BTW..are oil changes for new mazda 3s for free?

I live a few blocks away from the Stamford dealer. Other than it being more expensive than other ones around (in CT) they seem ok. And since they are a Mazdaspeed dealer it's always nice to walk in there and look at the Mazdaspeed RX-8 they have in the showroom. I also think the location of it is better than the WP one, whatever that's worth.

A friend of mine actually worked as a salesman in the WP Mazda for a few weeks. I guess from just talking to him about how the people there just kind of don't give two s**** about anything I would tend to stay away from there - I didn't get good vibes going there either.

My preference is the Milford, CT dealership, but that's pretty far away even for me right now.

Bring your own oil? They might still charge you something for bringing in your own stuff.
