Hi! New Here...

We got the FWD since we really don't need AWD at this point in our lives. Only thing I didn't like about the whole delivery process was that we got it w/ the tire pressure monitor light illuminated. We asked why that was and they gave us some line about how if the tires are bumped too hard against a curb or the transit trailor that in knocks the sensors around and that they just need to be reset. Did a quick pressure check this morning and the tires each had 20psi in them!! Filled them to 32psi and the light went off and all is well. Not the same kind of service I get from Acura w/ my car but whatever.

Mazda will send you a survey soon...be sure to mention that.

I hate to ask but...did you ask to see proof that the gas cap was the new design? If it's not, expect to see your Check Engine light come on sometime soon. The dealer's service department can provide you with a print-out of everything that's been done to your vehicle, all options, color codes, and other useful info, based on your VIN.

They told me its not affecting all of the gas caps but told me that if mine is one of the affected ones that I should bring it in and they'll perform the switch for me. I figure I'll just wait until it pops up if it even does.

Yeah, about that survey. The dealership told me to bring it back in so they can look it over and then they'll give me another free tank of gas. Yeah, my ass. I'll pass on the tank of gas so I can tell the truth and send it in.

Heyyy congrats on the purchase.

U r just another one that seems to be seeing the light in Mazda. CX-7 seems to be almost changing this company some how, getting Honda loyal customers is prob the hardest thing to do in the car business.

I think the new 07 CRV - the EXL at that price tag is one of the most overpriced small sport utes on the market. Say what u want about Honda reliability, 166hp basic awd car, no pwr seats, no auto air, no premium sound - should not be 26,500. Not to mention it looks like an EGG on 4 wheels now.

ANyways - great price on the GT, and what a great financing %. u made the better choice and got one helluva ride

Congrats on your purchase. I've had mine since last Tuesday and am SO happy with it so far!

Thanks all! Yeah, I knew what I was getting in to when I bought Mazda. I swore them off completely 6 1/2 years ago when I worked in the customer service center at corporate Mazda in Irvine, CA. for 6 months. The complaints I got were unbelievable and the way they treated their employees was just as unbelievable thus why I quit.

I will say this however...back then, when you requested after warranty assistance on something that broke on your Mazda...engine, transmission etc. The sole way they decided whether or not you'd get any assistance at all depended upon whether or not you did your maintence at a Mazda dealership. For that reason alone I'll always take my CX-7 to Mazda for oil changes even if it is a few dollars more.

After a full day we love it though. My wife and I feel we made a great purchase! Here's to many many years of a great ride!! (friday)
