Hey New England! Buy F'n snow tires or get off the road!!!!

+1 to the idiots all leaving early cause of the weather... we usually leave between 4 and 5 due to my gf's schedule at a call center as we car pool... we got out at 4 due to her having an abnormal early start i was like sweet we will have no issues leaving... WRONG!!!!! every body left at 4 it took us 2 hours to drive 35 miles... saw 6 or so ambulances and at least 2 major accidents and plenty of morons in suvs in the ditch.... and we only got 4" up here.... getting up to 20"+ sunday.... can't wait... at least i get to stay home and watch the pats beat the jets!

Newton to Brookline = about 2 1/2 hours. left the house around 6PM, which was the worst time possible...

Stayed home and watched the mess on TV. A pic of mine covered in snow. Can't wait to get a garage.

i left the MSP at home yestuday but i took my moms 06 accord out and it did very well in the snow but a normal 13 minute drive took me 4 hours it was not a very fun ride home.....

Took the wife's 92x Aero and had a great time.

Bridgeport to Waterbury in 50 Minutes (takes 43 in the dry).

And I left work at 4:30pm. No traffic whatsoever on Route 8.

took me 2 hours to get home from putnam CT to RI on 44.. CT roads sucked there were ruts in the road.. thankfully i had my truck and my Speed was in a nice comforting heated garage..even the truck had trouble and i have some beafy tires on it. anywho did anyone hear about how there were 100 kids stuck on buses for like 8 hours.. if that was my kid i wouldve been outraged.. that just plain rediculous like the rest of what happened.

Yeah, I heard some stories about that. I can hold it for a good 4-5 hours but after 8 I'd be pissing in the snow.

I just hope the garage stays dry. I remember a storm like this last year (lots of snow, and then rain all day) flooded my garage.. This year with the new driveway and new drainage system, things should be ok I Hope.

Been out to clear 2 driveways again today, got it done before the rain started.

Just noticed that it's been snowing since I bought the Miata home. Coincidence?

Yep. Moved both cars around 9:30 and let the plows do the rest :) One of the perks of living in a condo I guess. Nothin else to do today except watch the pats. Should be an interesting game.
