As the title says, newbie!

I just picked up a Relic 88' 323GT rigi-dig! Re-painted in original White/Pink Pearl & Black/Purple Pearl....um NOT good choice but orig scheme! Has had Exedy 5 Spokey put in bout' 7-8 months ago

Mostly stock except following:

BOV
Adjustable Boost Controller to 12psi (I think), running 9 @ moment according to seller?
5 Spoke Clutch (b**** to use), finally releases when it's ready but waaaay cool for free(naughty)
Mags but 1 was stolen(sad1) soooooo, will be gettin another set soon, spare is in use for now:cool:
I just put 21/2 Cat-back on Friday as it had crimped pipe (instead of hotdog) & one of those pathetic oversize, ugly chrome end pipes,,,eerrrrrrkkkk! God only knows whatgets into peoples' minds.

I will wack up some pics later this morn & it is going to be a project from here but it is registered & drives great. Body excel, interior VG for age. I'm thrilled to bits to say the least @ present & boy does she go for a lil' Mazzy.

Buggered if I know what else cause I want it add-ons only, maintaining stock turbo & Engine cause I don't wanna bugger originality too much except the car is on stilts due to Elec dash-adjustable Suspension, again, eerrrrkkk! I'll have to get some advice on what, how to lower effectively soon.

P.S. I have previously owned 2 other 323's, 1 was a 85' Silver & Black Super Deluxe Auto 3 door & the other a Red 83' I think? SS 3 door with twin Carbs, used to pull hard. Both had elec Sunroofs so they were cool(yes)

welcome mate...sounds like a decent car you picked up there.....

you you have electronic adjustable suspension?? weird does it work good??

as for lowering...the best way to go is with coilovers....and there's a bunch on here that have a 323gt so....one guy is 88323gt(yes that is his logon name i do believe, maybe just 88323)

Hi, yeah they have 3 different adjustment settings via a dash set up.
Normal; Cruise; Sports
....wierd alright!
I think car has every elec' option avail for it's day except side mirrors, they are manual operation.

Your right, enjoyin the car is main thing & I do this already.

After chat with my Mechanic mate & good buddy on 323 forum, I will be doing a Turbo swap & heavy mods to exhaust system (dump/down piping etc), to rid the Asthma-related probs the B6T's are reknown for, adding the EBay speghetti Manifold, & hopefully a orig' BPT downpipe if I can source one?, modded with a flange set up top suit & solve the restricted dump pipe issue.

This will apparently give me quite considerable power gain without toughing original engine or (I think) the ECU. Unfortunately I'll have to pull Air/Con unit out for the pipework using Mandrel bends to replace old dump/downpipe set up.

Will be a bigger job than anticipated but too much gains to warrant friggin' around with stock Turbo.

I want to do it right the first time!
