I'm looking at an MP3 Prodege right now. Any one know the stock 0-60 and what makes it so speacial from the regular prodege.

I have a 2000 silverado single cab sport side 4.8 v8 manuel. Reason why im looking at a car is becouse im going to be moving into the city and need something with gas milage and more then a 2 seats.

Well, I don't have my MP3 (yet) and I have no idea on the 0-60...but I wouldn't think it would be that great. I mean, it's just a 4 cyl. NA engine - not going to take your breath away.

Now, for the differences:
- Kenwood sound system (really nice for a stock sound system - includes amp, sub, really cool head unit and speakers)
- Racing Beat tuned exhaust
- Racing Heart 17" rims (special edition)
- MP3 spoiler
- suspension upgrades (tokico struts, springs, front and rear anti-sway bars, front and rear strut bars)
- Special edition - only 1500 made.
- Nardi steering wheel
- aluminum pedals
- other interior touches

mp3 has no amp. just a sub/bazooka tube with built in amp.

What color you looking at? How much they want for it?

if you base your car decisions on 0-60's....you looking in the wrong direction.

0-60 for the mp3 is ~8.1

This car is all about handling, and sport car like feel ( I'm talking HIGH end handling here ) for a bargain price.

It is a 2001. that is the only year they made them.
very low miles some have payed much less than that, but more mileage.

for that mileage, assumed clear title and all MP3 features have not been ripped off...i would say 13k drive out price lol...good luck...

and btw...i always believe our 0~60 is somewhere between 8.7~9.0...don't know MP3s can run 8.1 sec...all stock measurement??? i have mine dynoed in the hot summer time for 109.1hp and 115.7 lb-ft but never exactly know how fast my blue MP3 can run in 0~60 or 1/4 mile...

My P5 traverses to 60 in a leisurely 8.5, with good driving. Average is right around 8.7, though. That's with little mods to speak of, so pretty close to stock.

if you think that you are buying an mp3 and the year model is 2002, your wrong. It was only made in 2001. And btw, i found a MP3 at a dealership by my house with all of the hoses sleeved(ooh big deal =D ) looked really nice for $11900 with ~20000 miles on it. i live around chicago IL

mp3 has no amp. just a sub/bazooka tube with built in amp.

How does this not contradict itself? Well, like I said - I don't even have one yet, so I don't know very much about them.....sorry

he's saygin that they mp3 doesn't come with a sub/ outboard amp. . .it comes with a bazooka tube style sub that has a built in amp (kenwood w00x or infinity basslink style)

i would say that it doesn't really matter what the stock sub is cause they both suck and most who care about audio replace that fairly quickly

The mazdaspeeds come with a kennwood amp, like traitorhound said we have a bass tube. The tube isn't anything special, but it adds a nice kick to the system. You might want to peek in the trunk to insure it is still in there.(you cant miss it)

Please make sure it's really an MP3. Too many people have gotten scammed on that. It should have an MP3 badge. Different body package (wing, side skirts, front bumper with round fogs) and a nardi steering wheel.

it is 8.1, I've got at least 2 mags they say the same thing. Anything that says near 9....they can't drive.
