So i'm new on here....

I'm from CT, i'm the treasure for Fusion Car Club (www.FusionCarClub.com) and I just bought an 03 msp so i figured i'd come on and get ideas/suggestions on what to do to it when i'm ready to start building it up :)
I'll put up a link to the profile for my car later on when its done...our webmistress is on vaca this week so no pics online yet =(

first step: exhuast!! prolly the biggest bottleneck you can fix. I woulda gotten a midpipe before my intake if i coulda afforded it.

oh, and welcome. also, is your car spicy orange or black??

its spicy orange....i'll put pics and a link to my profile up shortly, i just havent had a chance to take pics during the day yet (i just got the car on Tuesday)

i've heard a bunch of different things on what to do first and what does the most for the money.....

i think i'm going to start with an intake just because thats about all i'll be able to afford for now since i have to put an alarm on it before anything else

also, i have to be careful because i have a warranty on it that i dont want to void so i cant make any major changes yet

it DOES have an alarm (albeit a pretty crappy one....) unless the previous owner took it off for some reason.

and rock on spicy orange, my favorite color ever.

hmmm...mine def doesnt have an active alarm on it...i thought it came stock with one (i guess i was right) but the dealer i bought it off told me it never had one....i dont know why someone would remove it tho.....i'll have to have my friends who do installs check it out

Its easy to find out if it's on there anymore. The alarm box is on the left-side kickplate down by your clutch. The "black box" should be zip-tied into a wiring harness. As stated, its a black box with a white sticker on the front. The sticker says "MAZDA Vehicle Security System."

I had to rip mine out because I lost the alarm keypad. After that, I couldn't get the car to start after I would reconnect the battery. I had to bypass the ignition switch and rip out the whole alarm. F'ing sucked. It's for sale if anyone wants it. haha
