well last days while driving the car i hear a metal clinking like tow metals touching each other on the front driver side i looked but i couldnt find anything could it be my motor mounts???

its the axle to wheel joint. it will make a clicking noise if its gone.

turn the wheel all the way one way and reverse or go forward. I you hear the clicking sound then your cv joints are out.

now does the clicking/clunking happens all the time when you're driving or does it happen when you just turn the wheel or does it happen when you're turning and going over the bumps?

If its 3rd (clunking over the bumps) most likely you're experiencing a problem with a tie rod (inner part....either driver's side or passenger's side...one or the other). I have this problem right now. My inner tie rod on the driver's side is shot.....somehow its holding down. It will be fixed/replaced this Friday though.

usually when you wait along time to fix a tore up cv axle you start two hear a popping noise like firecrackers going off under your car, thats when you know the thing has to be replaced. as for the 2 metals touching each other that doesen't sound like a cv joint problem to me i would check the motor mounts.

another good way to see if the front or rear motor mounts are ripped, you'll feel your throttle pedal being very sloppy and car bucks when you gun it or get off of it really fast. Then you know that your front or rear mounts are done.

my passenger side clicks once while i back out, and i dont hear it for the rest of the day. its only clicked repeative like a firework once. how bad does it need replaced?

hey well i checked my cv joint and they seem good so i dont know what else to check the noise com out when driving slowly just when driving fast it goes aways just in low speed and when the car bumps a little so what u guys think
