Hey guys, I really want to know if anyone here do black roof on white CX-5??

ive seen a few people do it on a new 6 (monkee) and I just bought my 3m vinyl to wrap the roof on my new 6 as well.

i think it might look pretty good on the cx5 in white.

just dip your roof with plasti dip i'm planning on doing it on my black cx 5 to prevent fading from the hot sun here in florida.

I have a tuned sage green rabbit. I installed flat black fujins, black R mirror caps and then painted the roof gloss black. It looks fantastic. If I had played it cool my liquid cx would have a black roof but I messed up and asked my wife the day I brought it home with black rims, she said no as a matter of course, end of story. I'm still going to sneak some black mirror caps on her cx as soon as things die down a little, she's only had it a few days.

And so yes, with sugar on top, paint the f$ckin roof.

they have a glossifier plasti dip that you can spray on top of the black plasti dip to give it a shine. just add coat upon coat to make it really shiny.

If you dip your roof get ready for a lot of maintenance to keep it from looking garbage. Most vehicles I've seen IRL that have dipped components look bad because the upkeep required. Get it wrapped in my opinion, and if really like maybe painted.

Coilovers on the roof have beeen shown to be of benefit in a rollover situation.

The plan is to 3m 1080 vinyl wrap....

IMO, black roof looks too cheesy and ugly. I like the ones that are made of black panoramic glass roof though.
It's almost like putting a NIKE mark on a Walmart no brand shoe.
