JDM can mean aftermarket or OEM, just for clarification. Remember that JDM headlights, whether they are cheap oem knockoffs or true oem lights (which.. considering from every pic I've seen the Mazda5/Premacy has chrome headlight housing, not likely) they won't have a proper beam pattern.

MSP5... did you by any chance have a red p5 with black wheels and basically all of the MSP swap (engine, interior bits, sound system, etc?)?

Yeah I know JDM is commonly thrown around for so much stuff. It kinda gets abused.

Unfortunately that was not my 5. I have been thinking about getting a 5 again in a year or so but theres so many options to go for. I change my mind so much.

The JDM headlights will be special order so I am wanting to make sure they will fit and use the same bulbs. The vendor I am going through doesn't normally sell them but can get them. This is why he's not sure if they will fit with no problem. If it works out, it would be good for anyone else who wants a set as long as they are available and not to costly.

I am still waiting to find out how much they will charge for them. I imagine there not going to be cheap. I was just hoping for some confirmation that they will fit with no problem and use the same bulbs.

I was actually thinking of baking my lights and opening them up and painting the chrome parts flat black. But if there's an aftermarket manufacturer of these, I'd rather go that route.

So far there is no known manufacturer of aftermarket JDM lights. I am hoping someone will manufactur some with halo's too.

I have been trying to find out who makes that lip but my source isn't talking at this moment.

Little low wattage bulbs that make the headlights glow dimly.. kinda like what BMW did with their halo lights.

our NA headlight housings actually have the small reflectors for the city lights in them just to the side of the high beams. I'm tempted to drill them out and put 5w bulbs in but I know I need to crack the lens off for access but I also know the lights cost nearly $500 ea so it makes me a little nervous. Anybody who's done this and wants to tell me how easy it is pipe in!
