Hey all, fist day on the site and before lurking around too much I'd like to ask any of you 3 owners what you like/dislike about the car. I've recently become interested in this new model and have browsed a couple of dealerships. I wanted to get some feedback from actual drivers as to what to look for and what to watch out for before I drop my cash on one.

Any pointers, feedback, or recommedations are more than welcome!

Welcome to the boards. My suggestion is to go to all the other dealerships to price and drive all the cars in the same price ranges as the 3. When your done doing that go back to the dealerships and drive all the cars in the same class as the 3. Then return to the Mazda dealer and purchase the 3 of your choice. I beg you to find and car in the same class or price range as nice as the 3. Being a physcian myself as well as a proud three owner (5DR). I can con fidently recommend the 3 as an excelent choice.

There are some complaints that are legit, i.e. rear disc brake dust accumulation on the rims and a faulty impact sensor that has thrown the airbag light on quite a few people ( return to the dealer, it's warranteed) In my opinion these are not reasons to reframe from purchasing this car. I said it once I will say it 1000 times, go drive it. You will fall in love!

Sincerely
Tim

YEa i love my car , It rocks , Beside the small stuff , ( every car has issues ) I am very happy with my choice of car,

I like mine a lot so far. No major issues for me at this point. I got it in April and have about 3100 miles on. Are you looking for information just about the car or also pointers on buying? You might want to add location to your info so people can see. When it comes to some things (especially pricing and options) location can be relevant. A lot of people suggest going off the edmunds "tmv" value but at least for my region I think their value is to high for this car. Have fun looking and good luck!

Thanks for the comments so far guys.

Sorry for the vagueness, I'm mainly looking for any and all comments you have about the car. Any major faults you may have with it, or things you love about it. So far I'm hearing brake dust, is this on all the brakes or just the rears? Is it tough to get the dust off of the rims? I drive a B3000 pickup and have never had any issues with brake dust from the front rotors.

Pricing comes down to what you're willing to pay, and in the end I can deal with that once I've chosen the car I'm after.

At the present time I've been driving a Mazda B3000 4X4 pickup since '96 and it's been pretty good (the service from Morningside Mazda [in Toronto] on the otherhand leaves a lot to be desired).

Please keep the comments coming. :)

LOL. What does being a physcian have to do with recommending the 3? Just wanted to slip it in eh?
