MY THEORY

coil packs r gone
spark plug wires r gone
maf sensor
and 02 sensors

Get the codes read at your local auto zone or big box parts retailer.

I'd guess coil packs .... but that should make the car throw a check engine code.

First thing pull your plugs and see if there is an obvious difference. Don't think coils will cause a flashing cel unless there is a broken or frayed wire somewhere. Check cam position sensor (had a frayed wire once causing a flashing cel) injector wiring, coil wiring and even the iat (had a broken wire also caused flashing cel). Does the cel pop up right away on a cold engine?

well no at a cold start its just on but then when i take off and try to gas thats when it will start to blink.....

ok i got it. i took of my sparkplug in cylinder 4 and saw somthing shocking that hook where u gap it.. it broke off i was like wtf!!! so i changed it and it worked now it runs good...

Those electrodes generally don't just break off. Have you checked to see if your car is one subject to those screws coming loose and falling into the engine. I forget the name of them ...

Correct DiS ! I couldn't think of the name.

Also, a bad coil will DEFINITELY throw a CEL code. I had a CEL in my daughter's 02 LX, and if I recall correctly, it threw a PO300 code (I think ... not positive on the exact number) which was 'multiple random misfire' .... I researched it, replaced both coil packs for about $70 total, and the issue was resolved.
