Ive finally decided on a p5!!! The money is in and thats left is to find the right one!!!

First off I was hoping you guys could point out the differences between the 02 and the 03 models?

Secondly, any tips before and after the buy would be appreciated!!!

The 03 is a bit newer than the 02 I think...

J/K (well not really I suppose)
03 has different wheels
03 has better clutch/flywheel
Canadian 03 has black headlights
03 has better cup holders
03 has annoying extra side blinkers.

what am I missing?

03.5 also came with the spare-tire subwoofer standard.

Before the buy definitely do a CarFax report. The worst thing in the world is buying someone else's problem.

If thats too much, look for tell-tell signs of any type of non factory paint work (overspray in the door jams or on mouldings). Most body shop paintwork starts to peel around mouldings and door handles. Chances are the car has been wrecked or vandalized. Inspect everything on it as if you were going to love in it. The pickier you are now, the happier you will be in the long run.

And after the flooding in the Midwest - i would look for signs of a flooded car. Musty smell, mud inside the doors, etc...
