Does anyone know how to install a precat o2 sesnor on my 2006 3. Its a universal sensor with only 4 wires but the OE one has 5. So i have no idea what to do. any help would be appreciated

you need to get a 5 wire oem one. i would order it from one of the oem dealers on the main page its only like 65$ or something like that its not that bad. there are so many wires because of heaters, temp controllers and of course the actual 02 readings themselves... good luck.

Most of the websites that sell the universal aftermarket ones will not fit primary O2 sensor for the 2006 models since they ONLY offer a 4 wire sensor. The other year models I'm not sure but they might be 5 wires as well. I have a 2006 2.3l model as well and I ran into this issue a couple of weeks ago since I stripped my primary sensor when trying to install my header. I have tried all the places that were selling aftermarket O2 sensors and they only have the 4 wire one. Chances are you will have to buy a OEM one if you need to replace it. The sensor will run you bwt 300 to 400 dollars. Hit Ken up and he could give you a quote for one.

Well it was worth a try i looked on the OE websites to which was a great idea thanks!! But there still 300 so i think thats the best price I will get. i will just have to wait on my sway bars haha.
