Help!

I have a CEL problem. I have CEL codes 1170 &1794, both Manf. Specific codes. I can find any resources online about these codes. I also have a REALLY bad gas milge problem since this started and I have replaced a set of plugs that looked like it was running WAY TOO lean. PLease someone help

I don't know what to tell ya. I looked for a while and couldn't find anything. I would try a bunch of different search engines using cel codes, mazda as a key words.(or some combination there of) I did find some codes but not the ones your looking for.

Are you sure you have the right codes? Just a thought. Keep looking.

Have you tried going to the dealer to find out what the codes are?

Thanks 1stgen, but the pages you sent me to exceot the last6 one are for OBD-I codes and the last page didn't have any replies. Boostepro, I have called the nearest Mazda dealership, which is like 50 miles away and the same guy answered the phone the three different times after the first time I called, and he said that he didn't know what I was talking about. -.-

What I was hoping you would come up with was a mistake in the code reading process.

I just called my local Mazda dealer and the woman on the line said I could come down to the shop and look through her books if I needed too look up a code. I'm sure you could get the same service. I would recommend taking donuts for best results.
