help turbo problems

iv'e noteced that my turbo dieing il will vac at 23-25 crazy high when it use to be at 18-20 what all other pro run in my area what chould it be shoot turbo ????

But is it spooling normally, any starnge noise or anything while in boost? Have you noticed anything wiered with the boost? Oh yeah and it was fun reading your post...

My car reads 23-24 vac at idle and I thought I was having spooling issues also...

ya kinda typed it after i got back 2 in the morning. the thing that piss me off with my car is it seens when turbo kicks in it through u back then it kinda bogs out and the get going agian in high rpm so im kinda piss with the car as my hole drive tran i think is a peace of s*** but got to love the looks and handleing.

Has the car been flashed then, the ECU that is has it been updated?

Then you might want to look into that at the very least having the ECU flashed, or if you want to make good power a Unichip, MPI tuner, Microtech, or some sort of EMS. I have an MPI and have been beating on the car all winter and it has held up well with all the abuse. Held up well at over 10psi pulling hard, but as for the vac I have always had around 22-23hg vac.

maybe ill flash it my car pertty much stock and i have waranty for an other 1 and half so i don't want to mod it.

I did the flash and it was small but noticeable, just read all the threads about the flash ou'll see it's good.

well went to the dealership look at my turbo and said it leaking oil and causing the problem so i have new turbo coming hope it fix's everything.
