Hi all,

Usually my temp gauge is just under the half way point... just today and yday I noticed in hot summer days its been at the 75-80% mark. I added some coolant and it still happens. Noticed this yday afternoon when I was trying to blast my A/C (maxed out) and nothing but hot air was moving through.

-Both fans seem to be running.
-Temps seem to rise more when I'm stopped, so when I'm moving the air helps it.

Any advice besides flushing the coolant?

TIA

. As for your original problem, if the thermostat doesn't fix it, try feeling (carefully!) your cooling system once the car is warmed up to see if you can find any cool areas. For example, if you find that the lower radiator hose is cool but the upper one is hot, then you have a clogged radiator.
