Ok this is the story, I had the dreaded clunk for 3 months..had it replaced by the dealer..clunk free for about 6 months...then just replaced them with AWR bushings...still the clunk is there. I have searched hours in the threads but the only thing I came up upon is the NO CLUNK BRACKET. I don't really want to get this since some say that the clunk is still there. What if I just remove the whole sway bar? I don't autox or race so I should be fine right? Has anyone remove their sway bar and have notice a change?

Thanks in advance..also I'll try to tighten things up a little more.

Grab the end links and yank them back and forth / up and down. You WILL feel "play" (clicking) if they are worn. The car must be level to check the "play" (on a lift or backed onto car ramps). If you check it with one side jacked up, the sway bar will be under tension and you might not feel the wear.

MY STORY: I have the AXR Clunk Fix Brackets and NEW 3/4" (19.0MM) diameter Energy Suspension bushings (one size smaller than the AXR Brackets are sold with - 20.5MM diameter). The car was still clunking like crazy. The "end link test" was performed as above and I determined the drivers side end link was bad. I had the dealer install new rear end links and for the FIRST time in 3 years the clunk is finally GONE. PM me with questions or comments and I will try to help further.

DO NOT DISABLE THE SWAY BAR, YOU WILL NOT HAVE THE CONTROL YOU NEED TO AVOID A SWERVING CAR CRASH. Noisy or not, the sway bars play a major roll in handling and stability.
