I realize that there have been other posts about this problem but here it goes:
I bought a 1990 rx-7 last year and it has been sitting in the garage ever since. I can start it up and it drives, but with half or less of the compression.
I have asked this question before on rx7 forum but after trying the suggestions I was given I am still tuck in the same situation.
I went to rx7 heaven and they told me that they could swap my engine for another with more clics on it.
I don't trust them. My engine still runs, and it only has just over 100k on it there is no way it's ready for the graveyard.
I have even been told that my engine may need a rebuilt, but I just don't believe it!
I have also been told that one of my rotors may be flooded?
what can I do about this?
Does anyone know of something I can do?
This is my first rotary engine, but I dtill know of mazda's reliability, and 100k only driven in the winter is not enough for it to be kapput.
I love my rx7 so much, but haven't been able to drive it yet!
PLEASE HELP ME!!
my email is : brihennessy19@hotmail.com
Thanx so much!
