hey guys i am looking to purchase a new winter set of wheel and tires but there are a few things that are still puzzleing me. the rims that i am looking at are these.

this wheel does come in a 114.3x5 at 15 in but i dont no if it is going to clear my caliper. i understand how offset works but i dont no how to compare them.
i no that the factory offset for my racing hart wheels is 55mm but the offset for the rims i want is only 40mm. does this mean I HAVE TO get a spacer for it to clear? or is it dependent on the style of rim and whether it fits or not? thanks for the help guys.

I believe the MSP has larger brakes than a reg protege. So, a 16" in the minimum. A reg protege can run a 15".

Im running 15" wheels right now. Clears np.

i still dont understand how i can tell the rim is going to fit.... am i going to have to put it on and just see if it does? i dont have upgraded brakes so that should not be an issue. is there some type of rule of thumb to no what will fit?

pretty much what i did cause wasn't sure myself. the weights on the inside are like an 1/8th from the caliper but it fits and doesn't interfere. if your worried just get 16's

my wheels are 15" mazda 3 wheels <_<. the ones i posted a few posts up. ^ you have about 3/8" clearance from a 15" rim on the front.
