Help me with my dilemma please...

So I had originally planned to go the custom route with exhaust and I had purchased some of the makings, including a corksport downpipe. Well this proved to be too costly a venture for me and I ended up going with the vibrant kit instead. So now I have this exhaust with half of the downpipe already on it, this is where the dilemma is. Now do I go ahead and get the S pipe put on and keep the J pipe as a paperweight or return the downpipe and get a new intake manifold instead? As far as the gain goes, which is worth more to do? Also if I get the manifold I can get my front and rear motor mounts put in also, this will save money as far as labor goes. Please offer advice or suggestions if its not too much of a pain to do so.

return the CS downpipe.... from what i've heard, it's not that big of a gain anyway... an intake mani would do you much better!

(p.s. welcome to the boards!)

Hmm...I dont think either are going to gain you a ton..But I would ditch as much of the stock exhaust as possibble.

But if all you are left with is the stock S-pipe..You should be pretty decent if you are not built.

Hell I managed to click off 14.0's @ 103 with the Stock S-pipe, apex 2.5 j-midpipe and the stock Catback exhaust.

You figure it out.

Yeah I got the vibrant on yesterday and I pretty much assumed that I got all the gain I was going to with or without the S-pipe. Either way Im gonna go with the intake manifold and then move on to the split second afc in a month or two. The AFC will be the mod I hide from the lady and the hardpipes and bov will be the "next mod"!
