HELP Me! Im a dumbass

how do you replace the one part of the gauge. I didn't think you could take the gague part off with out takeing the needles off. and they don't come off. also if you want a new gauge I got the whole thing from a junk yard. go to www.junkyarddog.com tell them the part you need and it emails junk yard around the country for the part. I got the gauges and plastic for 125 shipped.

yeah you're pretty much screwed. Better shell out the $$ to get OEM stock parts, or if you want, buy the Mazdaspeed gauge cluster!

another word of advice: next time ASK here first or do a SEARCH for instructions before doing anything. Or get a copy of the shop manual

good luck with the repair

Are the MSP guages any diff???

hey Dragonbabe70

You can put the temp needle back on. Just do it when the car is all warmed up. You can place it halfway. Thats where most of the time mine is after running it for a while.

I made custom gauge for my escort. Pulled the needles off with a special tool. Almost looked like tweezers. I filled my gas to the max and let the car warm for 15 minutes in the summer. They all worked fine.

on the msp i dont think they have a silver hugh to em, just white and i believe they only say mazdaspeed on the tach or speedo, so all the others should be the same
