Help me find Yellow fogs!

Can somebody point me in the direction of some yellow fogs? I am torn between the corksport led fogs and yellow lamin-x/ an HID set/ or some PIAA style plug and play replacement bulbs. I want something that will fit, not burn the housing, and be more functional than pretty.. i want to actually see a yellow splash of light on the street. Thanks.

Good luck.

IMHO, the problem is in the basic design of the fog light itself. There are brighter, better bulbs out there, but not even a laser will penetrate the "glare guard" that blocks the light from escaping.

Don't want to blind the squirrels, you know.

I have the corksport led fogs and yellow laminex , I switched to Nokya yellows and the output versus the Leds or stock fogs is considerable . You can actually see the yellow "glow" . I have had them installed for about a year with no hotspots or distortion of housing or cover .

I was looking at those.. they are cheaper than piaas and the reviews are just as conaistant as the piaas.

ended up going with Optilux yellow fog bulbs made by HELLA and philips x-treme performance for the headlights. paid $50 for all four bulbs. I'll post comparison pics when they arrive.

Nokya ftw! They are alot brighter than the stock whites and with the yellow Lamin-X its nice and yellow.

If you don't like dealing with the vinyls, you can spray them too. I bought a can and sprayed 4-5 cars fogs, each with 4-5 light coats. It's rugged and lasts long and you don't have to worry about ******* up the vinyl tint job. Completely redoable and reversible with some wet sanding.

HID's in small fog lights aren't recommended as too much heat built up and kill the bulb. However, i was running DDM 3000k 35watt hids and the spray tint. Looked awesome, really yellow color.

I'll be interested to hear how this goes. Headlights could use the help, and I figure if the fogs are gonna be useless at least they might as well look cool, haha.

Have any pics to post on those yellow Hella bulbs and the philips x-tremes?

Just cell phone pics for now. I'm happy with them. The colors in real life are a bit darker.. the yellow a bit darker n the whites not as blue. I.ll try n get some more pics with my nikon soon.

I just picked up a set of the Optilux by Hella yellow fog bulbs for $25 at Pep Boys a couple days ago. I really like them, much brighter than stock and with a really vivid yellow color. Now that I've seen the huge difference made by a relatively cheap colored fog bulb vs stock, I really want to get some quality headlight bulbs because apparently Mazda went really cheap on the stockers.

I have a pro DSLR rig so I should be able to get some pretty accurate photos when I have time, I just need to have the combination of location, time, and motivation line up lol.

Mykflo - where did you buy your hella optilux and philips xtreme bulbs from? 50 is a great combo price...

Might as well just go to Pep Boys for the Optiluxes, they're the same price and you don't have to deal with eBay or wait for shipping.

I just went with the same bulb setup (fog+heads) you installed. Thanks for the tip!
