I Need Some Headers For My P5 Please Help The Only Ones That That I Found Were Actually Racing Ones For About $500

hahahah, funny you should mention it. i just put some ebay headers in my car and they *almost* fit....... the egr vavle is wayyyy off, so my car is out of commison... anyways, i'll keep you updated cuz if i can get them to work, the header only costs $100

RActive, RAcing Mazda, AWR. Those are your 3 best bets. Some member just got his Ractive header for 280. Might wanna look into that one.

DONT go with racing mazda. that guy is MiA. i was lucky to get one from a group-buy, but boy, was it hell. AWR would be your best bet. IF you get a header made for a probe, u NEED to get another EGR valve welded on. good luck

so, you wouldn't buy from racing mazda? their headers are good s***, from what i've heard...hell, they've even updated their website. just wondering...i'm looking to get one of these.

i am not speaking for wagner when i say that the headers will be availible shortly and should retail for round $185. the finished piece will have the O2 and the EGR in stock locations. for an aditional fee (i dont know how much) they will ceramic coat them as well.
these shorty hearders bolt right up to the stock precat and give a gain of 7 to 10 whp. i have the dynos to prove it.
the customer service when dealing with wagnermotorsports is top notch and the quality is wonderful.

I thought it was like 3-5whp? Maybe I looked at the dyno wrong.

is there any headers out there that keeps the 1st cat? Another question is, I live in ohio so if I got a header that elimates the 1st cat, will I still the emission test? thanks.

Any news on the wagner header I really want to know the dyno results and how much it will cost to get ceramic coated and when it will come out. Also does anyone know how much the wagnermotorsports D/P cost and if it will bolt on to this header. The reason I'am asking is I want to get this header but get rid of my stock pre-cat and get a hi-flow cat instead; any info??

that looks like a good deal for a header. i'd be more interested in the midpipe though, because i want a turbo. weather or not i would get it with a cat depends on texas emmisions. something i guess i have to look into.

interested

I've been researching headers for my P5 and honestly don't know what's best. I'm looking for simple upgrades to boost hp/tq (however slight), keep the car efficient i.e. economical, and fun.

What about full length headers? My understanding is they retain the second cat and still pass the sniff test. Anyone know more on this?

If not -- The Wagner header, along with CAI, and free flow exhaust appears to be good for 10-15WHP. Any information regarding this would be awesome. Thanks!
