Tom Volk in his Driven says 17 CX5 does 60 under 8. What gives? I think mine does what 2013s do - atleast I think there is no significant difference. He bought his bro in law - who had a prev. gen. He loved quite a lot of the aspects.
When the question was popped - If you had to buy a car now would you still give CX-5 a chance - he said yes.
Tom suggested Mazda might add a signature edition - pano roof, real wood, possibly 2.5T in future : A porsche Macan for the masses.
That would be cool but probably hit late 30s in MSRP. I think if MAzda can pull that Signature Trim for 38K - would be a solid Bang! 250 hp/torque and good looks.
Though I hope we get a good hybrid version as well.
