Help Mazda OEM alarm system!!!

Hey All,

I have purchased a Mazda OEM alarm system from someone on another forum and installed it successfully. All the alarm functionalities work with no issues.

The only thing that is quite annoying though is that the door ajar light stays "dimly" on for some reason when the doors are closed. The light is no fully at the on but dimly. Seems like the circuit is partially grounded.

The wire harness that I received with the module, had the connectors for the driver side "dome light" switch cut off, so I was forced to connect the wire directly to that circuit by splising the wire.

Did anyone have that same problem when installing an OEM Mazda alarm?

Attached is the wiring diagram and the step that requires that specific connector to be connected to the dome light switch...

i don't believe the conn is the issue, maybe...mine didn't have the connectors either, but i don't see how that would make a difference??(scratch)
