Help Locals, Car Was Broken Into

BTW, Bernie Biship Mazda is awesome. I bought my MSP from them based on a referal. They're waaaay out of the area though (Brookings, OR). They got the sale based on how they were. Rick (I think he's the owner) is awesome, way easy to deal with. I ended up meeting someone in Corvallis to finish the deal.

If I buy another new Mazda again it will be from them.

I've heard of them and all good things. I just ended up going through a car broker and got a sweet deal . I HATE CARSALES PEOPLE ! Premier wanted me to pay 25 grand for the same car I have and I told them that I'll give them 19 with NO MONEY DOWN. Then he gave me some b.s. and brought in the finance manager who then told me that's under invoice so I told him they should fire their buyer because I just got quoted 20 grand for a 05 from Royal Moore's Fleet mgr. Well he asked why I didn't buy that and I told him that I didn't want a 05 in 04 so I thought i would see what they could do. He then said he could do it for 21,500 with 6 grand down and I told him no 19,000 and I'll be nice and put 1 grand down then told him he's got 10 min. to figure it out. Well they went in the back to try to sweat me out. 10 MIN. were up and I walked into their office to see them just b.s.ing so I told them thanks for their time and started to walk out. The guy then said wait he's trying to find the invoice to show me and I told him he's got 1 minute to get it .Well that pissed him off and he followed me into the showroom (which was void of customers, like the whole place) and told me in front of about 6 salespeople that "we at premier mazda do enough buisness that we don't need customers like you" I smiled big at him and told him Thank you and tried to shake his hand but he wouldn't do it. I walked out into the pouring rain to my car and heard the salesman calling to me to wait, got into my car and left him.He tried to call my cell phone and left about 3 messages. I woke up the next day called Cornerstone Automotive and told them what I wanted. Brian called me back a hour later said he found one up in Seattle for 18 loaded with extended warranty. I called my bank had the check in hand afterwork that day got the car the next day after work and the rest is history. Whew that was long.

oh the story gets a bit funnier. about a week later the salesman from Premier called me at work and asked me a question" if you were at a supermarket and all of the checkout lines were full ,would you tell the checked that they got 10 minutes to check you out or you are going to leave?" I said "it's not the same thing" he said"yes it is" and I said "no it's not" he said " why not" then I told him "You see at a supermarket I don't have any control over the amount of customers they have at any time but I have all of the control over you,as in first I was the ONLY customer at your place at 7 pm that night so you could of very eaisly got the whole deal done quick and 2nd of all even if you were busy I still have all of the control since I know how good my credit is,know what the car is worth, and I make you money. Oh one thing more.I got the car the next day for I wanted to pay for it and if you or anybody at your organization ever calls and harrases me agin about this matter my lawyer will be calling Joe Corisoni (sp?) himself " Well he started to speak agin and I just said good bye and hung up. Damn it still feels good (thumb)
sorry for the thread jack

haha... wow.

My boss had purchased his RX-8 through Bernie Bishop and had a good rapport with them. So when I saw a Titanium MSP in person and had to have one I called up the owner and said "Rick, need an MSP". Him "sure, $500 over my cost... I'll fax you the paper work".

Boom! I got my car like a week or two later. Easiest transaction in the history of cars I think. :)

Yeah to bad their sales team SUCKS. I guess all dealerships bite at one time or a other and yes I had a bad experience with Ron Tonkin but they dealt with me great after I raised a stink and still do .I just wish those places were\are like my Porsche mech (Stuttgart Autotech) I had when I owned a 944 .Yes you paid out of the ass but they at least cuddled with you afterwards and even called you the next day. To be serious those guys there alwaysw were honest just wished they worked on Mazdas

I ndidn't buy from them, but their service has been nothing but good to me...any sales at any dealers can turn out to be bad...so that's where i'll end it haha(boom07)
