Help! I need to replace my turbo, but don't want to spend $2500 to pay Mazda dealer

Hi Guys,

My MSP's turbo needs to replaced. I contacted ATP Turbo and they assured and reassured me that their GT2554R would be the same turbo as the stock turbo that broke. Unfortunately, my mechanic buddy tells it is NOT the same and won't fit. I don't want to go to the dealership and fork over about $2500 for an OEM turbo and my mechanic friend and I would like to get the same stock turbo for simplicity's sake.

Any thoughts you guys have would be very greatly appreciated!

It should fit with no issue. Which flange option did you order it in?, the t25 flange or t3? The t25 flange is for the mazda protege.

If you need a turbo, I have one for sale right now in the for sale section...there is a link under my post for it...asking only $300 shipped and can have it out ASAP...

Thanks for the info on the t25flange! Actually we just swapped the new CHRA in for the old.

I wish I had known you were selling a turbo earlier. I bought one and we just put the new CHRA in, replacing the old one.
