Help, How to install ebay short ram

How are you? I am New. Is there any one how to install to ebay shot ram

I basically installed it with no instructions. Take off all the plastic stuff up to the intake manifold. Assemble ebay SRI as needed. Use the brackets supplied on the corner of the battery box to push the intake away from the master cylinder. Otherwise, it will rub the intake. Here is a pic of mine completed.

Welcome, and have fun!

P.S., my wife wanted to work on my car for some experience. She did it with little help, in about 15 minutes. It is easy!

Yeah it's very easy. Unplug the sensors, take off the stock intake, put the new one on, plug sensors back in, tighten bolts, you're done.

Be sure not to touch any part on the inside of the MAF though.

Easiest thing you'll ever do, besides changing the headlights
Man I dont know what you're smokin. This is the hardest car I've ever seen to change the headlights in. Changing the oil is much easier.

Actually, compared to our 97 Accord and 94 Legend, this car has A LOT of room up front to change the bulbs. I guess it's relative.

CRAP.... I lost bracket bracket for my eBay intake after a move. (Never try to do anything before a move.) Didn't think I needed it but it rattles sometimes at clutch engagement. Anyone know what size piece would work?? Size bolt?

It could also be the extra weight of my Monsterflow intake on the piping vs. regular eBay cone filter.

thanks

It is rubbing the master cylinder, that is the noise. I would go to the hardware store, and see if they have any metal stock. Then take it home, make a bracket. I am using the stock hardware to secure miine to the battery tray and the maf.

Or you could cut about 1/2 inch off the pipe going into the intake. Then you will get no rubbing......use a hack-saw and just make sure you file afterwards.

does the battery need to be disconnected before sri install? didnt know since your messing with the maf, etc...

Actually, I reset the ECU after installing, since I messed with the engine, after the install. Key in the ignition to the idiot lights/radio come on. Unplug - terminal. Press brake for 5 seconds. Turn key off. Wait a minute or two, connect battery.
