help, fuel pres gauge not working!

i had the gauge for a lil over a year, just never hooked up, i tried today and every thing went good, until i turn the car on and teh gauge doesn't move


did i tap into teh right fuel line?

I don't have an answer for your but what are those brackets on top of the valve cover? Are they for putting the plastic cover on the non MSP/MP3 valve cover?

If a return line is what it sounds like it is, I wouldn't think that would be the place to tap.

Ok my quick googling showed that a fuel return line is also known as a "vapor return line" - maybe not in this car, I haven't touched my fuel system so I have no clue. If the line was blocked your fuel pressure would get too high as it is how vapors get returned to the tank, but there wouldn't really be pressure for the gauge to read there if I'm understanding this correctly.

yes, they hold the mp3 valve cover in place.

well, when i took the sensor off a couple of minutes ago, liquid gas came pouring out, it wan't presurized but the car was off at that time

I guess you could always do that when the car is on and see how pressurized it is kidding of course.

you have to use the FEED line. the return won't contain as much pressure as the fuel line into the rail has.

yes, the feed line is the one you want to read from.

Yo WTF here guys? I have mien hookedu p in that same spot, and I thought that WAS the feed line??? I have my gauge just after my FPR (where JCell has his mounted) but it only ever reads like 15psi max. Is the other line the return line or what? I thought the top one was the feed...
