oh crap ..... sorry to hear that, man ... I honestly have no idea... and that bolt was a b**** and a half to try and take off, so I didn't bother, and just Zip-Tied it securely. Hope someone can help you out ... good luck

you'll need to get a new purge solneoid. you could try some jb weld or devcon for a real temporary fix, but it's not gonna last that long like that.

damn, what is it with the brass nuts and bolts on our protege's? They torque them down so much you end up witha busted knuckle or a busted part.

i broke that same part with my injen install. you are referring to the piece that plugs in and has two plastic tubes on it? yeah, that part is $80 from Mazda :( for a temp fix i wedged the hose over the remaining hole and tightened it down.

Fixed it. It was my lucky day that Mazda dealer had one in stock, and the guy sold me $50 bucks for it because I'm a good customer (no clue why..). Even tho I spent excess $50 on something that I shouldn't have spent, but the Purge Solenoid looks GOOD now!!! :). In the end, the intake is finished and it took longer than I expected because of that b****-ass nuts *@#$!$#%$#*. Besides that b****-ass nut, everything else was pretty easy and straight forward, especially the filter part which is ALOT easier than I expected.

I'll post some pic later tonight when the damn sun is not so bright.. now I'm all sweaty..time to take a shower! -_-;;
