it was at about 120ish across all the cylinders should i be gettin rdy for a rebuild or is it fine for now?

Make sure your gauge reads accurate before you get worried.

positive it is accurate did it on my honda earlier and worked just fine. i will attempt again tomorrow and see if it is any different so i will find out

j/w how do you do compression test? i always wanted to try one of those. is there a special tool to use?

whats normal i did one today and mine read 1 = 150, 2 = 150, 3 = 150, 3=155
were is all my oil going i am loosing .5qt like every 2-3 weeks. i dont have any leaks. im thinkning it going in to my coolent because its oiley and kinda black.. but it was like that along time ago when i added the redline water wetter.

The number is important but what is more important is that all the numbers be roughly the same. TDRP I don't think you have anything to worry about your car is fine.

It's definately not good to have low compression, even if it is consistant in all four. However, I have no idea what would be considered "low" for the MP3.

pretty simple, remove your wires then unscrew the plugs one at a time. There is a comp. meter that you screw into where your plug goes. Then simply turn the ingnition. The meter will read the compression of that piston.

Obviously low compression is no good but 120 could be ok for the mp3, what I was trying to say is that his number are consistant so there is no immediate urgent problem.

Definately you are right SNike05. I was just saying that I didn't know what would be considered "low" for the MP3 compression. It kind of sounds like 120 is low, but again if that is consistant across all four cylinders, maybe that's ok.

Also remember that if you have adjusted cam gears, you will change the static reading due to the change in overlap. Leakdown testing is prefered over compression testing. Take the plugs out of all four cylinders to get an accurate reading as well.
