:'( AHHHHHHHHH!!!!
I just installed SS Brake Lines, bled the system, had pedal pressure, but when I turned on the car.... fooooosssshhhhh! Pedal goes right to the floor! :wtf:
What did I do wrong? Should I have had the engine running during the bleeding process? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!! The bad news is that I'm gonna have to skip an auto x event because of this little set back.

That's totally weird. When you turn the engine back off, can you regain brake pressure (through pumping at least)? If so, I'd say that there's something happening to the brake booster. It is operated from the engine's vacuum.

I just had this problem. Heres what you have to do.

Prop up the car on stands all the way around so that the car is level. Car does not need to be running. Bleed each brake at least 3 times. Get a friend to pump for you.

You had pressure when the car is off because the master brake cylinder is design to do so. oh, and have your parking brake off when bleeding.

Thanks!!!

Thanks Moose,
That's exactly what I needed to do! The brakes are now dead on. What a great improvement those SS lines make! I recommend this modification to everyone... it improves the pedal feel, and lets you regulate the brakes much more efficiently.
