Just registered on this site and just picked up a new 2010 CX-9 Touring last Thursday..Dolphin Gray with Black interior. So far I love the car/truck/SUV

The new ride is sweet. Of course I'm going from a 1997 Lumina

First impressions are the MPG listed on the sticker should be updated because there is no way I could average 15 around the city.. I'm more looking at 13.5 or so. Maybe i'm just a bit hard on the throttle but I really don't think so. Of course I only have a 3 mile commute so i guess it doesn't really matter.

The wife and I purchased this vehicle because we travel with our dog (husky) and are considering the children thing so we needed a bigger vehicle. We also travel with friends skiing and motorcycle riding so I bought a trailer hitch and soon the roof rack will be coming as well.

13mpg is very normal for 3-mile drives.
Even with Prius, you would get about 35mpg instead of 50mpg as advertised,

Yeah, i get around that and my commute is about 4 miles city and just a little bit of highway.
