Hello! New Member, but not new to Tuning!

Another dubber here, had a 1991 SCCA SSB 16V GTI, then a minty-fresh '90 small bumper 16V GLi (sold it 2 weeks ago with under 57k on the clock), and a 2000 1.8T Passat (great car, fast, but the car's legs were too long to stretch legally!). Fully agree with your A2 commentary, was the best handling VW IMHO though was noisy and not as reliable as it could be... mica black MSP #1108 now, and happy as can be. I miss the Vortex crowd, I go back and say hey every so often tho. Welcome!

Thanks Ping, I appreciate it! Good to have another dubber here for sure...into the autox thing, were you? Too cool...

Yeah, I've owned at one point Mk1's - Mk4's (5 total), and what probably surprises me the most is how much I don't miss them now that I have the MSP - not to say that I'll never own German anymore (that used to be all I said I'd own!), or that I don't like VW's (far from it), but the MSP is the perfect balance for me now - it's so damn good in a lot of ways...(2thumbs)

Besides, we only live once as far as we know - a little variety never hurt! :)

i am from brandon...been here since 1981. bought mine on 2/15/03 and got #200; guess you bought your msp from ferman mazda on florida ave. i go to usf....only 1 other black msp i've seen on campus. i am a rookie here too, but welcome aboard.

Cool, yeah we must not have seen each other on the road yet...I haven't seen any other MSP, either color, except for at dealerships. Then again I work in Largo, so I'm not on your side of town very often...

Yep, Ferman was awesome - they sold the one I was looking at, and a week later got one flatbedded in from West Palm...

Thanks for the welcome! :)

Oh yeah, unwound...I think the one you've seen was the one that sold right before I got there...My Dad and I went looking and the girl was driving off! She had a USF hang tag...pretty funny...

Guess all that matters is that we all have them now, huh?! Still cool that I haven't seen any others on the road yet...
