headunit went out/ no power

PS!
Potential Scammer!
so its been a week now and niether my stock or aftermarket headunits get any power, well heres the story.
i have a 4gauge amp wiring kit that came with a 60 fuse for the power line but i put in a 70 because it was all i had. i was messing around in the trunk installing a second amp and i dropped the power line on the ground and it sparked. this has happend once before so i expected my fuse for my power line under the hood to be destoyed. well i looked and it wasnt damaged but my stock headunit which was connected at the time isnt getting power. the last time i touched the power and ground byu accident my rca adapter fried and of course the 60 fuse blew. So now i hooked up my new headunit and it will not get power. Im thinking my entire wire harness is fried and i need to get another one. I checked all the fuses behind the change holder and the ones next to the battery under the hood. I was told there might be more fuses hidden someone in my trunk but im not about to tear my car apart again and have to put it back together for no reason because ive been through that a few times in the last week installing new mods. my amps dont get power and my headunits dont either. i know that if my remote is connected i will get a power signal to the amp but nothing. anyone know what i need to do to replace the entire wire harness? i followed the wiring out the firewall and it seems to go to one of these 2 clips mounted above the firewal exit in the engine bay. if you guys think its def fried wires and a completly new wire harness would fix it then i guess i would go find one from a junkard or something. keep in mind i dont really have money to spend. im strapped for cash but i could probably scrap sum up for a used wire harness to install myself. any help would be appreciated.

harness would very likely have nothing to do with it, I'd start with a testlight or multimeter. Go to the wires connecting to your headunit and find out if there's any power there. IF it's aftermarket, you'll want whatever connects to the yellow, check for voltage there. Also check red, that should work when the ignition is in the first click. Something might have simply fried your H/U... Also check the deck, is it aftermarket? many of them have fuses either on them or inline with them one of those could be the culprit. Is there anything else that's not working?

HIndsight, of course, but part of the nice thing with having a fuse up front is that if you EVER Have your power wire disconnected for any reason, you can pull the fuse, and be safe. For this reason I'm putting breakers in under my hood. it makes me VERY nervous having live large gague wires floating around in my car whiel I've got it torn apart.
