Recently purchased my 08 M5 Sport and I am wanting to replace the halogen with HIDs in the stock projectors - I have decided I am going with 6000k temp bulbs as that seem to get the most votes when looking around online. Question for those who have done the upgrade - did you need to get a relay harness for the ballasts or did you just wire direct into the stock harnesses?
Also I want to get the factory fogs in my vehicle since it came without. Wondering if anyone here has a set with the actual cutouts for the bumper since mine are the solid ones? I know I still need the switch.
With the tail lights I want to install LED's in the blinker, reverse, and stop/tail lights. I know I have to add resistors to the blinker circuits but I haven't seen a definite answer as to whether or not I need to add them to the stop lights as well to keep cruise control working at night.
One last question - is there a DRL function on these cars?
