headlight weirdness....

my drivers side headlight is normal but my passenger one is dim as hell and for some reason my brights are ALSO on very very dimly. and foglights are on just in case anyone is wondering...

does anyone know why this is happening? i have not rubbed through any harnesses or anything.....im baffled like a raffle! lol

have you tried switchin bulbs around...it's a pita but it would narrow down things

Swap bulbs, if it is still dim on that side, you've got an eletrical gremlin

Did you inspect the connections to the bulbs. Are they corroded? This could cause the problem as well.

thanks guys. i changed out the dim bulb with another and still the same result. i will switch around s*** and keep checking everything.

Are you sure you have it aligned in the mounting area correctly. This can make a HUGE difference with the focus of the beam. When I got my car one headlight was dim and out of focus, and the other was okay. Once the dim bulb burned out I found out, in the course of replacing it, that it had not been fully inserted into the opening in the housing. If the silver flange area just under the buld isn't fully flush with the opening in the housing then that could be your issue.
