Headlight Project: Projectors(pics inside)...

Update....

Not to much of an update, I started to sand down the headlight trim for paint and I mounted the projector to the headlight housing. Aiming for the projector is just like aiming normal headlights. Now I just need to make a better cover so light does not get out from the sides but thats not a big deal....next upadte I should have both side mounted, that should be by Friday or Saturday.

Yeah I am going to keep the reflector due to the fact that I want it to look stock and the cops will leave me alone.... I will have light output pics tonight....

Level and aiming go hand and hand in a sence, when I installed the projectors I used the old bulb hole and light cover to make sure it was in the same place as if the normal bulb would be there. Aiming the lights now is just like aiming them before with the screw in the rear of the housing.

how about removing the amber lenses and putting in titanium silver bulbs. that way you keep things legal while having the clean look

IS there any chance i can get a look at the back of your housings, just some more deatiled pics so i can get my measurements correct, because i really want to do this, but i want to do it properly. Keep us updated on the AIMing, so we can see how it checks out.

Tomorrow I am going to take them apart to get them ready for resanding and painting so I will take pics of every step so you can see whats going on...


yeah I am using halogen right now becuz I have to wait on the bulbs to come in....
