does anyone know of anyone that makes a thicker headgasket for our p5/mp3's to drop the compresion.......
I will follow up on this later. We are currently experimenting with this on a turbo p5. But it looks promisingHow do you know this Terry? You must be testing stuff again.
If you have lower compression, like on an Eclipse, you can run higher boost. This will sacrifice some of your low rpm power and torque, but the high rpm power increases will be worth it.What does a lower compression do for you? I thought that a higher compression was better.??

Yes you got a thinner head gasket you would raise your compression. From the looks of moving the compression down to 8:1 by double stacking the thickness of the stock head gasket shoudl be around .030Kooldino said:Conversely, what would happen if we got a THINNER head gasket (or removed it...tho I'm sure this is dangerous)? We'd get better compression, right?
What exactly does the gasket DO anyway?
