hazy headlights...anyone else?

I have an '05 2.3SP and have noticed my headlights are beginning to haze on the inside of the lens. It almost looks like the heat from the factory HIDs is burning the plastic. Has anyone else had this problem?

No but i heard that if you wax your headlights they will start hazing quickly

you can apply a special rubbing compund to them and buff em out.

try plastic polish and see if that helps any. It did wonders for my protege. If it appears to be on the inside, you can bake the headlight and take the front of it off to clean the inside lens with the same plastic polish.

I used some kind of meguires plastic polish... i just had a few hazy spots on my driver's side headlight; passenger side is brand new because that's the side i wrecked :/

you can also use lemon dish soap and some elbow grease works very very well... its actually on the outside..

ok, i have determined the haze is on the outside. how often should i need to do this to my headlights? it has been 5 months and they are hazing up again.

also, what causes this hazing?

it comes form road dust... it actually roughing up the out side. cleaners and dish soap like i said previous do a good job of "buffing" it out... not truly buffing though...
