with the current calender being put together, jarrett had a great idea of hawaii making their own calender or picture album.
i am very interested into going into interface design, so i would more than love to try and put this together (just to have something to show with my portfolio)
here is what i am thinking:
i will put together... or try to... a small book containing hawaii's proteges with an import tuner type layout or magazine layout with brief brief information on each car. sorry i wont type up pages of explanations about their car.
here is what i will need:
i feel each owner should have a seperate photoshoot at their own disclosed location. setting up a photoshoot with everyone in my opinion would be dull... example: we shoot everyones cars at ala moana like before. how interesting is it to see a book full of pictures of nice mazdas with ala moana in the back ground of everyone? not much in my opinion. if i had a good camera, i would be more than happy to snap shots of peoples car at various locations... but i dont sorry. so i think everyone should pick a spot ideal for them and take pictures of their car there so we have variety.
of course, next, high resolution pictures will be needed. digital would be highly prefered. also, if u can also submit a picture of each owner to be put along with each car. it can be any picture of themselves and doesnt have to be a portrait type, but rather, i think random shots would be funny (like langs picture of me at scso)
for sake of text, maybe a quote or two from each driver?
also, of course, a list of mods; both current and future plans.
well that is what i can think of currently.
i can see this being put together by summer of next year. i know a lot of us have future plans so doing this soon will be out of the question. with dave's car down, langs car far from done, and many others expecting to do new mods, im sure (if they participate that is) they would like to hold off on this idea until next year.
this is just an idea which i would love to see happen. please post comments/suggestions.
i want this to be open to any mazda driver.
also, i have a place in mind to take all of our things to get printed and put together, but if anyone has connections as far as printing goes, post away.
