Have you heard of this thing on E-bay called the G-Box?

There is this thing on E-bay called the G-box. It is a piggyback to change the fuel/air mixture and they have one for the protege 5. I know almost eveyone thinks the chips on E-bay are POS, what is your opinion on this one? Has anyone used this thing? If you visit ebay, go to parts and accessories for cars, then type in G-box in the search you will see the part I am talking about. Is it another POS or could this thing be worth trying?

Quick point to what stutters said- read the info on what it does (adds more fuel) when we already have a problem of running too rich at WOT - better of with timing gears to advance, not retard the timing!

Sorry I didn't get to finish what I was going on...Called at work.

But yeah, what shinzen said is true. The Protege dumps to much fuel as it is and the signal is very difficult to over ride anyway.

I was thinking it might be fun to have a BS project car and buy all of the crap on E-Bay and test it and show just how BS the products are.

now that could be fun- see how much power you could lose with every mod you could find on ebay! Somebody should do it- as long as they get some 100 spoke 13" daytons with knockoffs to go on it!

my dealer said someone had that on their p5 and couldnt fill up with gas because it ****** up the evap sysem or something like that.
