Have anyone tried to paint the bottom parts of the bumper front/sides/back ?

Im considering doing it. But would like to see how it would look like first. I will be painting it the same color as the car ( white ).

My opinion is that the CX-9 is BIG. The black on the bottom not only takes away from the size of it but actually helps with rock chips and such. Painting the bottom the same color would make it look ginormous. Now painting the bottom plastic satin or gloss black, now we're talking. Here are some pics of the pace car which has the bottoms rockers (not stock obviously) painted body color.

That looks very nice. This is one of the reasons we got black, as the black lower trim kind of just blends in.

Painted the bottom parts early of the year. It looks much better. Painted same color as the body. Frankly, i didnt like the black color with a titanium silver color body.
Really stands out against other CX-9 in my home country. The downside, there's definitely chips marks on the front part, but, whose watching up close...heheheh..
