Anything is possible but you better have some serious design and fabrication skills.
And it's more than just a question of physically sticking it in there and attaching it to the engine. You also have to think about ignition and fuel management.
As far as I know, nobody has done it yet. You'd be the first.
For the insane amount of difficulty required, you're better off buying a turbo kit from somebody that has already done all of the research and testing (coff*coff*hiboost*coff*coff).

well, theoretically, all you need is the compressor and piping. management is done, as we know the Haltech works. it's not a turbo controller, it's just fuel management and can be hooked up essentially the same way for an SC. both HiBoost and F2 have talked about playing with that soon, so it's not out of the question at all....just not done yet.
i'd start with some focus forums and see who makes kits for the Zetec focus and email them to see if they've played with the duratec yet (that's if you don't have the 1.6 or 1.8). that's how i got 50% of the stuff for my car, start with the focus and go from there.

we have only two kind of engines in Moscow (Russia): 1,6 (w at and mt) and 2,0 (manual only - "sport")
some words about supercharges. there are bigger, more expensive and less effective on high rpm than turbo (imho of coarse). sure, SC can help you to start faster on huge pimped lowrider. they are always heavy, powered by quite slow engines and rear wheel driven. m3 is opposit. if you'll put huge torque on front wheels of this light weighted car you'll just polish the road, nothing else. it is not too hard to make first "jump" on mazda3. it's hard to continue moving faster with high rpms. that exactly needs turbo.
by the way vw have found a good solution. they use both (first)
